At it's most simple, an izakaya is a small Japanese-style pub featuring tapas-style small plates.

Izakayas are meant to be fun, casual, and communal. Kaizen doesn't fit the classic izakaya mold, be we do strive to emulate the izakaya atmosphere, while incoporating not only Japanese cuisine, but other Asian cuisines and influences including Szechuan and Thai.

We may not be perfectly traditional, but we do always work to provide the best ingredients, food, and experience possible.
